The Message Jesus, The Finder (Jn. 9:35; 38) Jhn 9:36 He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him? Jhn 9:37 And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee. Jhn 9:38 And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him. Investigated by the authorities and discarded as unworthy to be in their presence because he didn’t meet the criteria of “healing” according to of law. Being discarded and ignored was not a foreign experience for him. Being blind since birth prepared him for the worst and best from a community that supplies alms. Then Jesus comes and doesn’t focus on who sinned but rather that the works of God maybe manifested when his sight is restored. To be cast out is not uncommon. To be pursued and found by the Son of God, is glorious. To receive sight is amazing, to receive Jesus as Lord is eternal. Lord, Today is another day that I have to remember that you sought me out and didn’t just see me as a nameless face that needed saving. Another day to thank you for healing and deliverance, but I praise you for Sonship. Amen Pastor Orlando | |||
